meet the designer
Hey there! I am Caitlyn, the designer behind Birdie’s Blooms. I fell in love with floral design during college and began officially doing weddings and events in June 2023. In my first year, I ended up flowering for 20(!!) brides, with items ranging from a bridal bouquet to a full-service wedding with centerpieces and floral installations. As a wedding florist, I love watching your inspiration and vision for your big day come to life.
In my free time, you can often find me with my boyfriend, Dalton. Usually that is at a Cardinals baseball game, local music venues, or hanging out with our family!
education
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management with a minor in Science and Agricultural Communications from the University of Missouri. In addition, I have a certificate in Floral Artistry and Management. During my time at Mizzou, I worked as a student florist at the campus flower shop, Tiger Garden. Through the weddings and event team, my love for floral designed bloomed (literally!). During my senior year, I was fortunate to take a study abroad trip to study Floral Design in the Netherlands with the Boerma Insituut!
